The D-S10 Series Infant Skin Temperature Probes and sensors are designed for  measurement on
thorax, axilla and extremities of infants in OP - ICU - Pediatrics
 
The probes are available for all brands of modern patient monitors
 
Product description

Connectors
As standard available with the type A, JK, HP and SA. - Other connector types are available upon request.  
 
Cables
3 mm black medical grade silicone tubing, with free inner shielded cable reinforced by Kevlar cores.
The primary standard length 2,75 m - Secondary standards 1,5 m and 4,5 m. Other lengths are available upon request.
Electrode
S
olid stainless steel house ø10 x 3,6mm.  The sensor chip is placed in the center of the disk giving an optimized
thermal surface contact and a minimum influence from ambience.  
 
Measuring reference
2,252 kohms at 25ºC.

Use and Maintenance

The temperature probe can be cleaned with ordinary detergents either by wiping it clean with a soft cloth or machine washing
at e.g. 80ºC ~ 176ºF.
 
Disinfecting
Without changing the features of the soft and smooth structure, the probes are accepting all generally applied  hospital disinfectants
such as ethanol, isopropyl alcohol or chlorite compounds.
 
Typical examples
Disinfect the cleaned probe with a disinfectant such as  
A. Rodalon™, Cidex™.
B. 1 - 2,5% Formaldehyde solution.
C. 70% Alcohol, 0,5% Chlorexidine, 29,5% H2O  
 
Steam sterilization
A, SA and HP-types can be autoclaved at 121ºC - 250ºF in standard cycles of 20 min.
